Please enjoy browsing around the new website. The website will not substitute normal e-mails or billing. This is simply a tool for parents and students to use. Hopefully it will be a helpful way for you to access information, articles, rescources, and even games to help students progress in developing thier musical talent. I would appreciate if you would use the website as an advertising tool if you refer any of your friends or family members. If there are any signifigant changes to the website that might interest you, I will notify you vial e-mail.
This semester, I would like to experiment with online music games. I would like for each student to take ten to twenty minutes of their practice time each week playing music games on the computer. (Hopefully it won't be too much of a chore to ask students to play on the computer!!!!) I have found several free websites that have fun games. I think that these activities will help students enjoy piano in a fresh and diferent way. I find that the more association music has to a child's world of play and fun, the more dedicated and enthusiastic the child will be about learning piano.
Music is God's gift to man, the only art of Heaven given to earth, the only art of earth we take to Heaven.– Walter Savage Landor
